SPEECH

You need to prepare (and deliver) a short speech, telling the class about the Reformation.

Choose between the following topics:

  • Religion in Europe before the Reformation
  • Martin Luther
  • Henry VIII and the break with Rome
  • Mary I made England Roman Catholic again
  • Elizabeth I made England Protestant again

For this task you will be assessed as follows:

DRAMA

You need to prepare a performance of a Reformation play (to perform the play in front of the class).

You will be provided with one of the following plays:

Religion before the Reformation

Martin Luther

Henry VIII & his 6 Wives

Henry VIII – Break with Rome

Mary I – Back to Rome

Elizabeth I

For this task you will be assessed as follows:

You need to make a short video, about an aspect of the Reformation, to show to the class.

Choose between the following topics:

  • Religion in Europe before the Reformation
  • Martin Luther
  • Henry VIII and the break with Rome
  • Mary I made England Roman Catholic again
  • Elizabeth I made England Protestant again
